On the afternoon of May 15th, the 2025 President's Roundtable Meeting of Hangzhou Cangnan Chamber of Commerce was successfully held at Meizhao Health Care. The addition of new members has injected fresh blood into the chamber of commerce, bringing new vitality and opportunities. Subsequently, in a warm atmosphere, a plaque presentation ceremony was held. President Chen Zhongchao presented plaques to the newly added executive vice president, vice president and director, marking their official integration into the big family of the Hangzhou Cangnan Chamber of Commerce. At the same time, upon the recommendation of the president of the Chinese Super League, Chairman Ye Qizhou was appointed as the director of the Investment Department of the Chamber of Commerce, adding impetus to the development of the chamber of Commerce's investment field.
Subsequently, the meeting reviewed the work of the Hangzhou Cangnan Chamber of Commerce in the first half of 2025, which achieved remarkable results in areas such as exchanges and cooperation, public welfare, Party building, and training. Then, everyone discussed the work plan for the second half of the year, planning to hold the third member meeting of the fifth term and the Spring Festival gathering in early or mid-December. Some members suggested that the chamber of commerce has a rich variety of activities, but there is insufficient interaction among industries. More cross-industry activities should be organized to promote cooperation. Some people also suggest that the official account be utilized to enhance the popularization of legal knowledge, provide more professional services for member enterprises, and organize legal teams to visit leading law firms to learn advanced experiences. Some people also pointed out that chamber of commerce activities should integrate resources, enhance resource connection and empowerment, and increase the enthusiasm of members to participate in activities. The representative of the supervisory board emphasized the significance of standardizing the financial system and suggested that the Secretariat draft normative documents on financial income and expenditure, which would be improved with the assistance of the legal team. After being discussed and approved by the executive meeting and the president's office meeting, they would be implemented to ensure that the financial work of the chamber of commerce is carried out in accordance with the law and is standardized and transparent.
Finally, President Chen Zhongchao made a comprehensive summary. He highly affirmed the achievements of the chamber of commerce in the first half of the year, including successfully attracting over 20 outstanding entrepreneurs, further expanding the industry coverage, and winning multiple honors. At the same time, the core work goals for the second half of the year have been clearly defined: to continuously expand the chamber of commerce team, fully support the work of all departments, and provide financial support for the Medical Hometown Elders Committee, the Wives' Club, the Art Troupe, the running Club, etc., to facilitate their development. Strengthen the sense of responsibility and require the president and directors to take the lead in performing their duties and actively participate in the activities of the chamber of commerce.
Lecture on "Unlocking the Basic Logic of Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Preservation
After the meeting, the Hangcang School of the Chamber of Commerce arranged a special lecture on "Unlocking the Basic Logic of Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Preservation", which was presented by Teacher Shen Xin.
Teacher Shen expounded on the close connection between traditional Chinese medicine and nature, citing the "Huangdi Neijing" to illustrate that the changes in the human body's Yang energy are in sync with nature, and sleeping in can lead to the deficiency of Yang energy. He pointed out that diseases are caused by the abnormality of qi movement due to the different positions of the human body and nature. Traditional Chinese medicine adjusts the "position" in its prescriptions, which is different from Western medicine. Traditional Chinese medicine emphasizes all-round treatment. Teacher Shen also gave examples to illustrate that traditional Chinese medicine has achieved remarkable results in the treatment of critical illnesses and diabetes. Traditional Chinese medicine can play an intervention and regulatory role in health care at all stages and health problems caused by the unhealthy lifestyle of adults. In daily life, one can detect physical problems by observing the tongue and applying cupping therapy. Moreover, traditional Chinese medicine emphasizes starting from the details of daily life for health preservation. The duration and effect of taking traditional Chinese medicine vary depending on the patient's age and condition. Elderly patients with a long course of illness need to continue taking the medicine to improve their physical condition if they want to enhance their health. Teacher Shen emphasized that traditional Chinese medicine treatment should be combined with dietary restrictions and lifestyle changes, so as to truly solve health problems and prevent the recurrence of diseases.
